About Barry Clanton

Barry Clanton, PA-C graduated in 1999 from the highly acclaimed Saint Louis University Medical School Physician Assistant Program. After graduating, Barry spent six years performing complex surgeries in general orthopedics, trauma, total joint replacements and sports medicine in Florida and North Carolina. He worked for many other years in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, emergency room and Internal Medicine.

Previously, Barry also completed a Physical Therapist Assistant degree and worked in acute hospital and outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. His work experience and skill allows him to diagnose any injury to an expert level.

For over 25 years, Barry has managed all aspects of general medical care and internal medicine, with an emphasis in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation management.

Barry is one of the most sought after experts in Utah in the motor vehicle accident and personal injury medical field.

He has a true expert ability to lead patients through the right path to recovery and returning back to a fully optimized functional status.

Barry has built an excellent network of highly qualified doctors, therapists and imaging centers to properly assess, manage and treat any level of complex injuries, while seriously controlling costs and preventing unnecessary expenses.

Nathaniel Gay

Nurse Practitioner

Nathaniel Gay earned his Doctorate Degree (DNP) from the University of Utah Nurse Practitioner Program in both Family and Geriatrics. Before earning his DNP, he graduated from Weber State with his Bachelors’s in Nursing (BSN) and worked 6 years as a Nurse before starting his career as a Nurse Practitioner.

Nathaniel has been in the healthcare field since 2000, working previously as a phlebotomist, CNA, EMT, and Registered Nurse. He has also worked as a nutritional consultant, personal trainer, weight loss consultant, and completed several years of undergraduate work in health education.

A lifetime resident of Utah, Nathaniel is aware of and dedicated to the specific issues faced by people of this community. He is very excited to have joined the team at Precision Medical and looks forward to serving this community. Since the age of 5, Nathaniel has been a lifelong musician, actor, and entertainer, having done a lot of work locally in music and live theater. He also loves any activity that involves the outdoors. However, being with his family is what he loves the most. Nathaniel is a proud husband of a beautiful wife and father to 4 amazing children.

Amanda Montecinos-Clanton

Administrator

Amanda graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s in Communication, Advertising, and English. After graduating, she ventured into the translation industry and helped a struggling company reach a double-digit multi-million-dollar status. She also ventured into the non-profit world and started the Legacy Dance Academy Foundation.

Her career has taken a turn and she is now invested in making Precision Medical the top medical provider in the region with the best technology available and with expert medical providers that put patient’s care first.

Amanda is a very generous person who cares for everyone’s well-being. She is an outstanding leader and individual with many great qualities to make any company succeed. She has shown through the years her loyalty to her work and family life and complete dedication to those who she loves. She is passionate about helping young people and seeing them succeed in life. She has demonstrated that nothing is impossible in life if you put the effort and sacrifice into the things that you want to achieve.

Beatriz Tabarez

Clinic Coordinator

Beatriz became a Medical Assistant in 2006 in her native California. Her passion and dedication to helping others have driven her to explore many opportunities in the medical field.

Throughout her career, Beatriz has worked in various settings such as assisted living facilities, an Obstetrics and Gynecology office, a Pediatrician’s office, a Community Care Clinic as well as Family Practice and Urgent Care.

She is a skilled phlebotomist and can navigate anything from the front office, back office, and even the medical records department. Beatriz has been working with Precision Medical UCFP since it’s inauguration in 2013.

In her free time, Beatriz enjoys spending time with her family and participating in any outdoor activities.

Rodolfo Montecinos

Clinical Medical Assistant

Rodolfo was born in La Paz, Bolivia. He moved to the US at the age of thirteen and adopted the country as his own. His love for medicine began at a very early age, as he grew up watching his older brother practice medicine. Fate would see it that he would end up working for Precision Medical, as a Medical Assistant. He enjoys helping patients and has no problem developing a connection with them due to his friendly nature. Rodolfo is currently working on obtaining a degree in Public Health Administration. In his free time, you will find him on the soccer field or at the gym. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Darrell Clanton

Billing Coordinator

Darrell studied Music in Pensacola Florida Jr College 1958-1960. He performed in the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra 1956-1962. He served an LDS mission 1960-1962 in Florida. He served in the United States Air Force as a musician 1962-1969 in Florida, South Dakota, Illinois and Japan. Darrell was in insurance sales and management 1969-1978, he is also an electrician, but don’t count on having him go to fix your broken cables, he is busy making sure Precision Medical’s quality and service to our patients is top notch. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of West Florida Pensacola Florida 1988-1992, and was a Middle School Math/Science teacher at Bay School District Schools Pensacola Florida 1992-2005. He and his wife served an LDS mission in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2006-2008, followed by serving as an LDS Church Family History Southeast Area Advisor 2008-2013, Precision Medical 2014-Present

Although he misses the sunny weather of Florida he enjoys the beautiful mountains of Utah. Most importantly, he enjoys his quality time with his wife, his children and grandchildren! He loves hiking and seeing the sunrise and sunset and enjoys waking up to a wonderful view of the mountains. His love to serve others is truly what he is known for and his open arms in welcoming strangers in.

Devin Clanton

Clinical Medical Assistant

Devin Clanton was born and raised in Florida and transplanted to Utah in High School. He earned an Associate’s in Science at UVU and currently studying Community Health Administration for a Bachelor’s degree. He is also planning to attend medical school in the future and become an MD.

He loves anything to do with the ocean, rock climbing, and anything outdoors.

Reagin Collyer

Clinical Medical Assistant

Reagin Collyer was born in Payson Utah and shortly after she moved to Spanish Fork. She was a member of FFA and learned life lessons that can apply anywhere and everywhere in life. She completed a course to become a Phlebotomy Technician. She plans to attend school in the fall majoring in Medical Assisting. One of her long term goals is to work in the hospital in the mother-baby unit. She enjoys children and very much wants to be around them on a daily basis. To learn more and help them with any issues they may be dealing with. Also, she has a passion to get into Equine therapy and help children and young adults overcome trauma and other things they may be struggling with. In her free time she enjoys riding horses up in the mountains and in the arena as well as anything outdoors with her dog.

Cassie Broadhead

Physican Assistant

Cassie Broadhead is a Physician’s Assistant at Precision Medical. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University in Exercise Science and later, a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University. She has specific experience in bone and joint surgery as an orthopedic physician assistant as well as in primary and urgent care. Cassie believes the human body is miraculous and aims to help patients heal and feel better with exercise, lifestyle improvements, and diet as much as possible. In the case of trauma or injury, there is a place for modern medicine, medications, and procedures. She uses best practices and science to help the human body achieve its greatness.

Cassie spent five years as a horseback riding instructor. She played basketball for BYU, coached basketball at Timpview High School. She is active and fit herself and she strives to teach her patients how to do the same so that they can achieve their health goals.. or something of the sort.

Justin M. Loder

Physician Assistant

We are delighted to share with you the news that Justin M. Loder has recently joined our team at Precision Medical. Justin is an accomplished and highly skilled Physician Assistant who brings to the table a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of orthopedic surgery and podiatry.

Justin earned his degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and served in the United States Navy as a commissioned Medical and Naval Officer for almost 12 years. He is excited to return back home to Utah and bring his experience to Precision Medical and serve our local community. With over 10 years of experience in the medical industry, Justin’s proficiency in assisting in numerous surgeries is second to none and he has advanced training by completing an Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He has extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and management of sports and musculoskeletal injuries and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. We are thrilled to have him join our practice to be able provide specialist knowledge and procedures for our patients. Justin has been instrumental in the management of complicated diagnoses and has helped patients navigate the recovery process with ease. Justin’s skills also extend to working with complicated cardiac cases, pediatrics, chronic disease management and emergency and trauma care, making him a versatile and valuable addition to our team.

As a board-certified Physician Assistant, Justin has demonstrated his commitment to providing high-quality care to his patients. He is passionate about his work and strives to deliver personalized care to each patient he encounters. David Miller

Physican Assistant

David was born at Camp Roberts, California. Shortly after, David moved to Utah where he has spent more of his adult life. After high school, he travelled to Colombia where he became fluent in Spanish and developed a love for Hispanic culture.

By 1982, David had obtained several degrees, and considerable experience in the medical field. He has worked in psychology as a counselor, and later worked for the Space industry. In 1992, he obtained his Physician Assistant degree from Omaha Nebraska medical center.

While being a physician, he has had experience as a 1st assistant in surgical settings, is very knowledgeable in pediatrics, adult internal medicine, as well as geriatric care. During the past decade, David has become an expert when dealing with Motor Vehicle Accidents, as well as personal injury. David has always shown an ability to adapt, thanks in part to his kind nature.

Roger Miguel Montecinos Prada

Research and Development

Roger Montecinos Graduated as a General Practitioner and Surgeon from the prestigious universities “ San Francisco Xavier” in Chuquisaca-Bolivia, and the “Mayor de San Andrés” in La Paz- Bolivia. He also completed a course in Public Health in the “ Valenciana” University in Spain.

Dr. Montecinos has worked 30 years as an Emergency Room doctor, as a general practitioner, and as a Surgeon in medicine in various hospitals in Bolivia. He became the Director of different OB-GYN clinics. Dr. Montecinos is a very empathetic and compassionate doctor and his extended knowledge and experience throughout his career has helped successfully treat very difficult cases.

Dr. Montecinos is currently working at Precision Medical in the Research and Development department and he supervises the patient care quality control making sure our clinic population feels a sense of “ home” when they visit the clinic.

“My philosophy of care is based on treating every individual and patient I encounter with kindness and genuine care. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a doctor. With God’s blessings, my dream became a reality despite many challenges and obstacles. I feel blessed that I’m able to provide medical, emotional, physichological care to, not only my patients in my country, but to everyone I get the chance to help and change their lives for the better. I believe in being honest and loyal and I want the best for everyone. Especially those I care about because I want to see them become the best they can be…I might sometimes be outspoken about it…but I truly want them to be the best they can be.

Andrew Nielsen

Physician Assistant

Andy Nielsen is a Physician Assistant with 14 years of experience in healthcare. After serving in the military for 21 years, he recently retired and transitioned to civilian life. Andy is dedicated to providing compassionate care to his patients and values the relationships he builds with them.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, making the most of family moments whenever possible. Which most times includes wrestling tournaments.
